I wasn't able to find a lot of ref. images that accurately reflect the way I want to shoot this but I'm really excited about the location and I'm confident it will look amazing!
- Wide establishing shot showing tree and birthday party. "Push In"
- Medium shot of Kid swinging stick at pinata
- Ground up shot. Camera is on the ground pointing straight up at the pinata. Candy falls on the lens as children converge.
- Close up of children laughing/smiling
I want to shoot this in the morning but this really depends on the sun and location. Obviously a beautiful sky is critical for this shot.
There are lots of different shapes, sizes and color options for pinatas. I prefer to use one of these three shapes. Also I would like to find one with pastel colors and stay away from primary colors if possible. I'd love to hear what you guys prefer.
I think these fiesta paper fans are cool. I'm looking for ways to make the space more dimensional and give myself objects to move through and past. A combination of these fans and balloons will add hits of color and give the space more parallax as the camera moves. Let me know your thoughts.
